17th Annual Potato Day August 2, 2008
Tentative Schedule

7:00 AM - 10:00 AM --  Pancake & Sausage Breakfast hosted at Fire Hall to benefit Junior After-Prom Party.  

7:30 AM - Registration begins for Mile Walk/5K Walk or Run/10K Run - Meet at UBC    Entry Form       

8:30 AM -- Bank of the West Coin Dig begins at Fire Hall.

9:00 AM -- Potato and Chip Dip Recipe Contest registration until 11:00 AM at Chamber Headquarters in Dickinson Park    Entry Form     

9:00 AM -- Arts in the Park begins at Dickinson Park and open until 4 PM. For more info., contact Melanie Smith at (605)532-5541

9:00 AM -- Citywide Sidewalk Sale begins- Bargains With A'Peel"

9:00-11:00 AM - Bring quilts in for Quilt Show at Senior Citizens Center

10:00 AM -- Ping Pong Ball Toss off back of Dacotah Bank building for Kids 

10:00 AM -- Potato Sculpture and Best Decorated Potato  Contests at the Clark Flower and Gift Shop.            

10:45 AM - Little Miss & Little Master Tator Tot Contest - Entry Form Chamber Booth at Dickenson Park

11:00 AM -  Potato & Chip Dip Recipe Contest Judging - Chamber Headquarters Tent at Dickinson Park.   Includes Chip Dip, Potato Hotdish, Potato Salad, Potato Dessert, & Potato Breads.  Entry Form 

11:00 AM - 1:30 PM - American Legion Auxiliary Lunch at Clark Legion Hall

Noon -- Clark Car Club Show begins on North Commercial      Street. Registration beings 9 a.m. Trophies awarded at 4:00 PM on North Commercial Street.                                       

12:00 Noon - 3:15 PM -- Registration for Tractor Show across the street from Gas Plus.        

12 - 4 PM - FREE for kids - Jump for Fun Inflatables          

1:00 PM - Quilt Show - Demonstrations every half hour until 4:

0 at The Quilt Show at Senior Citizens Center.  Quilt Diva will be unveiled at 1.  Contact Sandy Luke (532-3721) or Pat Mathes (532-3219) for more information.

1:00 PM -- Horseshoe Tournament  Dickinson Park

1:00 PM -- Kids Pedal Tractor Pull at the courthouse.

2:00 PM -- Discovery Mime Theater at Dickinson Park

2:30 PM - KWAT Tractor Parade arrives in Clark - sponsored by KDLO, KIXX, & KWAT Radio

3:00 PM -- Potato Events at Dickinson Park.

3:15 PM - Tractor Show begins

4:00 PM -- Car and Tractor Trophy Presentation on North  Commercial Street                                                       

5:00 PM -- Potato Day Parade on HWY 212 and Commercial  Street (Lineup begins at 4:30 PM at St. Michael's Catholic Church. For more info, contact Lawrence Patnoe, 605-532-3524
